Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations
Entry-level qualification for those seeking support roles within the transport and logistics industry. A strong first step onto the warehouse floor.

For skilled operations roles applying discretion and judgement, with potential coordination responsibilities. Includes the opportunity to gain a forklift licence.

- Permanent Queensland resident
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, or eligible visa holder
- No Certificate III or higher completed in the last 10 years (school qualifications do not count)
- Not currently enrolled in another DTET-funded qualification, including one on hold or deferred
Traineeship pathway: new full-time or permanent part-time employees may also qualify - confirmed per candidate.

- Aged 15 or older and no longer at school
- Permanent Queensland resident
- Australian or New Zealand citizen, or eligible visa holder
- Be an existing worker in the warehousing industry
- No Certificate IV or higher, including university qualifications, completed in the last 10 years (school qualifications do not count)
- Not currently enrolled in another DTET-funded qualification, including one on hold or deferred
Concession pricing - around 50% lower student contribution - applies to eligible participants under Career Start and Career Boost.

Which qualification should I start with?
If you are new to the industry, the Certificate II is the ideal entry point. From there you can progress to the Certificate III, Certificate IV, and the Diploma of Logistics as your career grows.
Am I eligible for government funding?
Funding depends on your residency, age, and prior qualifications. School students may study the Certificate II fee-free through VETiS, and programs like Career Start and Career Boost subsidise higher qualifications for eligible Queenslanders. We'll confirm your eligibility before you enrol.
Can I get a forklift licence through this course?
Yes - the Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations includes the opportunity to gain a high-risk forklift licence as part of your training.

Need your whole warehouse team trained on-site?
We deliver the full Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (TLI30325) at your workplace, with a training plan built around your own equipment, stock and day-to-day tasks rather than a generic classroom course.
Eligible staff can do it as a funded Career Start traineeship. For anyone who isn't eligible, we'll quote the training for your group.
