Is this course for you?

Part of our Supply Chain Operations training.

Warehouse operators and supply chain administration officers building skilled roles, school leavers starting a warehousing career, and employers putting new or existing staff through a traineeship.

Before you start

No formal entry requirements. For Career Start funding you must be 15 or older and no longer at school, a permanent Queensland resident, and not have completed a Certificate III or higher in the last 10 years. We confirm eligibility with every student before they enrol.

How it runs

  1. How it’s delivered

As a traineeship, 12 to 24 months on the job with your employer. School leaver intakes start on a Monday with five days of classes at our Capalaba centre. We talk you through the rest of the timeline before you start.

  2. What’s assessed

Practical and written tasks across the qualification's units, covering work health and safety, manual handling, chain of responsibility, processing orders, stock control, and customer service and communication.

  3. What you leave with

The nationally recognised Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (TLI30325), with the opportunity to gain a high-risk forklift licence as part of your training.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as the Certificate III in Warehousing Operations?

Warehousing is now taught within the Supply Chain Operations qualifications, which combine the former warehousing and logistics streams. If you were looking for a Certificate III in warehousing, this is the current qualification.

Can I get my forklift licence through this course?

Yes. The course includes the opportunity to gain a high-risk forklift licence as part of your training. The forklift licence can only be added once you turn 18.

How much does it cost?

It depends on your pathway. Career Start funding, school leaver places and traineeships each have their own student contribution, and the current fees for each are listed on our Supply Chain page. We confirm which applies before you enrol.

Can I do it as a traineeship?

Yes. New full-time or permanent part-time employees may qualify for a traineeship, completed on the job with their employer. Eligibility is confirmed per candidate.
