Queensland Forklift Licensing Explained
To operate forklifts in Queensland you must obtain a High Risk Work Licence (LF class) from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) according to the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011.
The three essential procedures to obtain your forklift license are described below.
To obtain your license you need to enroll in an RTO-approved course which EDB Training Services offers. The second requirement for getting a license involves passing both written and practical assessments under the supervision of a qualified assessor. When you finish both assessments with success you will receive your Statement of Attainment along with your AS1 application form.
After completing the assessment successfully you need to submit your application to WHSQ along with required documentation such as identification and completed forms and the licence fee payment. Our staff members provide complete guidance to students regarding this application procedure.
